About:

The SC Outreach and Informal Educator Summit (SCOIES) is a FREE gathering for outreach and informal educators serving K-12 students in the midlands of South Carolina. SCOIES is not a formal organization. The K-12 focus is meant to include a diverse assortment of any and all sites / programs relevant to STEM, Arts, Social Studies, ELA, Mathematics, and other academic areas. The intent of the meeting is simply to build community and learn how we can best serve our K-12 audience needs while meeting our own program goals.
