EEASC August Midlands Meet-Up

Registration is closed

Due to a scheduling conflict, we are rescheduling and moving the next EEASC Midlands Meetup!  The new date is Wednesday, August 16, 8:00-9:00 am, and we will meet in the conference room of the Richland County Extension Office at 900 Clemson Road, Columbia.  This is in the red brick building at the Clemson Sandhill Research and Education Center.  Enter the REC from Clemson Road, across from the Walgreens at Village at Sandhill.  (Don’t follow the GPS instructions, as they will lead you to an employee gate requiring an access code.) Follow the dirt road until you can take a path to the right. This will lead you to the red brick building.

 

There will be a Floating Wetland Launch and BMP Tour of a pollinator garden, rain barrel system, shoreline buffer, and more at this location at 9:00am, and anyone who would like to stay for this tour/workshop can register for free at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/floating-wetland-launch-bmp-tour-tickets-35878692134.  Morning snacks will be provided!


This meet-up for environmental educators will be informal; come prepared to share program updates with the group and enjoy refreshments and networking.  Bring your own coffee.  RSVP to Jane Hiller at jane.hiller@sonoco.com or register using the button at left.
