Become a Leopold Education Project Instructor!
Educator Workshop Saturday February 21, 2015 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Registration is now open for a Leopold Education Project (LEP) Workshop . This 6-hour workshop is based on the classic writings of renowned conservationist, Aldo Leopold, in his classic work, A Sand County Almanac.
The Leopold Education Project (LEP) teaches the public about humanity's ties to the natural environment in the effort to conserve and protect the earth's natural resources. LEP is an innovative, interdisciplinary, critical thinking, conservation and environmental education curriculum which complements existing EE curricula.
Participants will receive A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold and an 87-page curriculum guide. This workshop was developed for students at Clemson University but is open to any person interested in this training.
