At this fun, hands-on workshop, participants will:

• Make-and-take a gourd birdhouse and bamboo bee hotel
• Learn about bird biology and pollinator conservation on school campuses
  
• Get plans for a Carolina Fence Garden
• Register for Schoolyard Habitat and Green Steps School certification
• Bring a waste-free lunch and join us for a picnic and tour of Dutch Fork Elementary School's environmental projects
  

Workshop presenters will include Dr. Arlene Marturano (USC), Sudie Daves Thomas (USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service), Sara Green (SC Wildlife Federation), Jane Hiller (Sonoco Recycling), and Chanda Cooper (Richland Soil and Water Conservation District).

Participation is limited to 24, so don't wait to register!
