Saltwater Living at SJN

This event for teachers and environmental educators will highlight SJN’s journey to bring a saltwater aquarium into the classroom. Participants will learn about:

• SJN’s innovative fundraising efforts
• SJN’s education and maintenance partnership with Aquarium Specialty
• How the aquarium is supporting interdisciplinary project-based learning throughout the school
• Student engagement and academic achievement

Speakers include Richland County’s Conservation Teacher of the Year, David Kenga, and an aquarium specialist from Aquarium Specialty.  Refreshments and door prizes will be provided!
