Spring has sprung here in the western section and it's time for a saunter! Yes, I do love alliteration a little too much sometimes but the specification of a saunter is important. Trail running is a no go here. Naturalist Tim Taylor will be our guide as we take in the sights, sounds, and impressive wildflowers of Ashmore Heritage Preserve. Please bring water, snacks, and your excitement to explore for approximately 1.5 miles! If you can stick around a little longer, please bring a packed lunch and join us at nearby Eva Russell Chandler Heritage Preserve for lunch on a cool (in the temperature and hip sense of the word) granite outcrop with views of a cascading creek (aka a waterfall-see what I mean about the love of alliteration).
