Looking for an escape from this heat? Wanting to learn something new? Come join your western section friends for a screening of the documentary, The Plastic Detox. The documentary follows six couples who spend 90 days greatly reducing their daily exposure to plastics, microplastics, and hormone disrupting chemicals, ultimately showing how this affects their health. Following the screening, there will be a discussion led by sponsor Spartanburg PART (Plastic Awareness & Reduction Team). There'll be plenty of science and practical takeaways for us all! Afterwards, we'll walk to the Fr8yard for snacks and drinks (pay your own way).
