Purpose: Marketing means communicating offerings that have value for customers, partners, or society at large. So basically, everything can be marketing! Such a broad topic can be daunting for people wearing many hats in an organization, but it doesn’t have to be. Join marketing manager Roberta Burns to unpack your questions around marketing and leave with practical tips that you can immediately put to use. We’ll cover content creation advice to crank out quality material in no time, programs/apps to streamline the process, and how to use analytics to determine the impact of your efforts.

During this interactive Zoom session, we’ll take time to dive deep into best practices for your most-used marketing platforms, ways to leverage free marketing resources, and practice creating content calendar examples for a few attendees’ organizations. 

Facilitator: Roberta Burns will be our facilitator for this discussion. She holds a BA in Business Communications and Marketing from Westminster College in Fulton, MO. She currently works as the Marketing Manager for ArtFields in Lake City, SC and supports social media marketing efforts for Second Floor Media. With digital media taking the forefront, Roberta has a special interest in keeping marketing personable and on-brand no matter what channel is used.  She has been credited with the rapid growth of numerous social media accounts and especially enjoys the analytics behind marketing campaigns. Roberta lives in Florence with her fiance, Mike, and rescue pup, Bootsy.
