Directions & Parking: Enter Saluda Shoals Park at 5605 Bush River Road. Let the gatehouse attendant know you are here for an event at the Environmental Education Center--you will NOT need to pay for parking. After passing the gatehouse, turn right at the first stop sign, and the environmental education center will be on your right. The Meetup will be held on the education center deck, and the retirement drop-in will be held in the education center classrooms.  

Meetup Agenda (3:30-4:30pm): Meetups begin with a facilitated round-robin session where participants share updates and announcements. Come prepared to announce any program dates, opportunities for partnership, or information requests (~2 minutes per person). 

Retirement Drop-In (4:30pm-6:00pm): Following this month's round robin, join us for a drop-in celebrating Jane Hiller's retirement from Sonoco Recycling from 4:30-6:00pm. The event will include hors d'oeuvres, a photo booth to create special memories with Jane, toasts, and a group card to sign. If you would like to contribute towards the costs of the event refreshments or make a donation to EEASC in honor of Jane Hiller, you may do so online (use the comment box to include a special message for Jane--we will forward your messages to her) or at the event (a donation box will be set up for this purpose). 

Purpose: Meetups provide opportunities for environmental educators and communicators from both formal and non-formal education settings to build relationships, strengthen partnerships, share resources and program updates, and cross-pollinate their program ideas with colleagues.

Schedule: Meetups are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month, alternating between 8am and 3:30pm.  Locations and timings may vary, so be sure to check the website for the next event!
