Roper Mountain Science Center (RMSC) opened the new Environmental and Sustainability Building earlier this year. Join Tim Taylor, the Life Science Specialist at RMSC and Western Section Leader for EEASC, on a tour of the new facility.
This new state of the art facility features 7 classrooms, the Connections Cafe, and multiple exhibits: Our Water Story, Sustainable Future, the Nature Exchange and Habitat walkthrough.
Who: EEASC Members and friends. Registration is required!
Parking: arrive between 4:30- 4:45 pm (gate closes at 5 pm), at Roper Mountain Science Center. Park in the big parking lot near our new Environmental Science and Sustainability Building, follow signs up paved walking trail.
Meetup Agenda: Meetup will begin with fellowship and light refreshments with a facilitated round-robin session where participants share updates and announcements. Tim Taylor will also provide a tour of their new Environmental Science and Sustainability building!
Purpose: Meetups provide opportunities for environmental educators and communicators from both formal and informal education settings to build relationships, strengthen partnerships, share resources and program updates, and cross-pollinate their program ideas with colleagues
