You MUST be a member of the listserv to submit a message. Due to the large membership, we must follow these guidelines in order to keep the list open for individual posts and to keep the number of posts manageable. Failure to comply with the guidelines may result in your removal from the list. Please report misuse of the listservs or listserv problems to: EEASCLIST-request@LISTSERV.SC.EDU (statewide list) EEASC_MID-request@LISTSERV.SC.EDU (Midlands list) EEASC_WEST-request@LISTSERV.SC.EDU (Western list) EEASC_EAST-request@LISTSERV.SC.EDU (Eastern list). EEASC Listerv Usage Guidelines: 1. Posts should remain relevant to environmental education programs and opportunities in South Carolina. 2. EEASC listservs are too large to be used as discussion boards or to post specific questions to the membership. Contact individuals directly if you need more information or have information to provide to the poster. 3. While listserv messages can include attachments, some listserv members may have email systems that block or scrub attachments, or may have email systems with limited email memory space. 4. Do not post messages related to environmental issue advocacy (calls for rallies, protests, petitions, fundraisers, etc.) that advocate a specific course of action. 5. Do not use EEASC listservs to advertise products, commercial services, or fundraising events or campaigns. 6. Be discerning and do not "over post." Limit event postings to twice a month. 7. Do not forward emails or posts from other listservs without editing the content and clearly identifying the purpose of the email in the subject. 8. When responding to a sender, DO NOT reply all. This will send your message to the entire listserv membership. 9. Do not "CC" large numbers of emails along with EEASC listserv posts--they may be rejected as a spam attempt. 10. Do not post an organization's newsletter email or link, or forward other newsletter emails to EEASC listservs. 11. Do not use the listservs as discussion boards. If you have an information request for the EEASC community, contact admin@eeasc.org for options for distributing your message. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the archive for the appropriate list. The current archive is only available to the list members. |
