Camp Out
Encourage students to build an indoor or outdoor tent and camp-out at home while they research a local species. One resource would be the Audubon Field Guide.
Consider assigning students to research bird(s) in their “neck of the woods” here.
Students can listen to the birds songs and share a picture of themselves in their tent.
